Show Translations is proud to present AirScript™, an innovative wireless closed-caption system for musicals and plays, operas and any live show.

By removing the language barrier that often prevents foreign tourists from going to see a show, theatres can use AirScript™ to tap into this massive potential audience. Non-English speakers will be encouraged to see shows that have the AirScript™ devices in preference to other productions which do not offer this service. By renting out the AirScript™ devices to audience members, theatres benefit from a clear and direct source of income.

The AirScript™ system is provided to theatres as a service, thereby avoiding the need to hire or train additional staff. Show Translations takes care of installation, configuration, translations, day-to-day running, technical support and maintenance.

In addition, theatres have a corporate social responsibility to provide for the deaf and hard of hearing. AirScript™ not only provides foreign language subtitles, but also an English transcript so that those with impaired hearing can enjoy the show to the full. There is no rental cost for this service.

As well as driving ticket sales, AirScript™ generates exciting new revenue streams. Full-colour, high-resolution advertising space is available before and after the performance, as well as during the interval. Theatres can use this facility to promote their own productions, merchandise and refreshments, or receive direct revenue in the form of external sponsorship.
